when my best friend, Andre, and I began a candy distribution business in our high school making $2,000 a month. That sparked a love of business in me that never left. In the early 2000s I stepped into the personal finance space creating and authoring numerous personal finance tools and mentoring over 3,000 small business owners.
Then, after my experience in 2009 when I profited $251,500 on 4 plots of land after holding them for just 4 YEARS, 8 MONTHS, 15 DAYS, I took land investment to the next level.
Over the next decade I developed and tested a land development blueprint eventually increasing the value of my portfolio by 1,000% on average. Continuing with these efforts, my daughter, Alexis, brother, Clinton, and colleague, Doris, scaled my blueprint assembling 57 parcels of land in a 5-city square block to develop a health and wellness focused neighborhood with a ripe mix of housing, entertainment, work, educational and entrepreneurial opportunities.

Anthony & Alexis purchased along with family members and a few investors two (2) 12,500 SF vacant lots in 2015 to develop them into mixed income residences for seniors 55+ with chronic conditions.
Then, in 2018-20 our plans were approved for both a 5 Story, 34 Residential Unit and a 6 Story, 50 Residential Unit Preventative Health Facility on both lots respectively.
Our overall investment was $722,276. Once the Zoning applications were approved on the 2 vacant lots the values increased to $3,360,000. A 465% Return on Investment (ROI) or Investment Growth. That’s the power of urban land investing.
